CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT ENGINEER / AVON / c£25K
Great opportunity for a Configuration Management Engineer to join a leading aircraft manufacturer with the most modern & comprehensive product line on the market
* In this challenging role you will be responsible for Configuration Management within one of the Outer Wing Box teams their aircraft program
* Ideal applications will be from engineers who have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship, preferably aerospace industry
* Educated to HNC or equivalent standard your skills must include Generic Configuration Management principles
* Also Product Data Management systems (PRIMES, etc)
* Strong respect of the need for good Configuration Management
* In this varied role you will co-ordinate/manage impact requests between all Wing teams/suppliers
* Also establish Configuration baselines, administering the activities associated with Configuration Control Committee
* Configuration Management approval of all MoD Proposals & Technical Repercussion Sheets that affect the Wing
* Configuration Status Accounting services
* Facilitate Configuration Audit services |
