COMPOSITE STRESS ENGINEER / AVON / £25K-£35K
Excellent opportunity for a Composite Stress Engineer to work in the composite methods team. We are keen to hear from applicants with:
- Strong exp as an Aircraft Stress Engineer involved in the analysis of Composite Structures using a range of standard hand & computer methods
- Able to confidently undertake aircraft stress calculations, & produce clear, concise reports & other documentation, of appropriate quality essential
- Understanding of aircraft production methods & processes, especially if gained through involvement in MRB or similar manufacturing support activities.
- Aeronautical Engineering degree or equivalent
* IN THIS VARIED & CHALLENGING ROLE the Composite Stress Engineer will generate/manage stress analysis capability for use on projects
* Develop composite stress capability for use in design, certification, product support
* The capability encompasses composites stress analysis methods, allowables, tools, policies
* Typical work includes
- Progression of transnational composite stress manual
- Trans-national tool creation
- Test/deployment, design & with various projects to ensure all stress requirements (including certification, strength, stiffness, durability, maintainability & reliability) are fully defined & integrated for any task undertaken |
