AVIONICS PROJECT LEADER / AVON / TO £36K
Great opportunity for an Avionics Project Leaders with the following skillset:
* Appreciation of Aircraft systems/aircraft & various interface types
* Knowledge of electronics used in Avionics
* Systems Engineering process
* Detailed knowledge of at least 1 part of a system development lifecycle, preferably V & V project management
* Understanding of distributed avionics architectures
* Exp of systems tools such as Matlab, Simulink, SCADE, UML tools useful
* End user exp/manager exp of requirements engineering tools & configuration management tools desirable
* MS Office tools Advanced user
* Degree/equiv in Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related subject
* Exp in aerospace industry related to civil avionics
* Working knowledge of French &/or German advantageous
* Strong communicator able to prepare/present detailed technical/project proposal & management presentations
- In this varied & engaging role, you will work within the Information Management Architecture & Integration Dept, leading & actively participating in a number of avionics related research & development projects
- Projects may include 1 or more of: avionics signal interfacing, avionics architecture definition, electrical power load control, digital databus & wireless technologies
* Work with counterparts in UK, working with fuel/landing gear systems & other engineers in Europe, working on cockpit & cabin related systems
* Regular European travel |
