We are now seeking the right individuals to join our growing aerospace team in Bristol. The position of Aerospace Senior Systems Engineer is ideally suited to high calibre engineering graduates with significant and appropriate post graduate experience. You will be given the opportunity to provide high quality technical input to our aerospace projects, and develop your systems engineering skills. You will be expected to take full ownership of technical tasks, and to lead others in their execution. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate a desire to be challenged and to contribute towards the success and growth of the business. Mandatory Requirements of the role
You will be Degree qualified in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or Systems Engineering, with at significant and appropriate professional experience in engineering environments related to the aerospace sector. You will have a strong track record of technical delivery, innovation and leadership. You will have experience in one or more of the following: - Systems Engineering processes
- Systems modelling techniques (e.g. MATLAB / SIMULINK / STATEFLOW)
- Validation and verification
- Fluid systems modelling (eg. FLOWMASTER)
- Safety and reliability analysis techniques
- Airworthiness regulations
You will be expected to demonstrate the following attributes: - Professional in approach and performance
- Strong communication skills
- Commercial awareness
- Team worker with the ability to effectively manage themselves and colleagues when appropriate.
Ideally you will be: - Fully conversant with aerospce industry analysis methods, standards and practices as well as the latest analysis tools and applications.
- A Chartership Engineer, with either the IMechE or RAeS.
Additional Information
- Some work outside normal office hours may be necessary. Travel to and from client sites and/or temporary secondment to client’s offices may also be required.
