This exciting opportunity for an Stress Engineer (Aerospace) is to work within a growing division of a leading consultancy. They have a strong presence in the Aerospace, Defence and Nuclear markets. They provide a range of services including supportability engineering, safety engineering, systems engineering and project management services to a range of companies.

Position

The position of Aerospace Mechanical Engineer (Stress Engineer, Finite Element Analyst) is will have the opportunity to provide high quality technical input to their aerospace projects, spanning both aero-structures, and aero-engines.

Key Skills

Ideally the Stress Engineer (Aerospace) will be Degree qualified in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (or equivalent), with appropriate professional experience in engineering environments relevant to the aerospace sector.

You will have experience in one or more of the following:

§Stress analysis (including Finite Element modelling)
§Fatigue and damage tolerance
§Structural dynamics
§Composite materials
·Thermal analysis
